Rapper Megan Thee Stallion definitely has the sauce!
The 26-year-old and the food chain announced they were teaming up in an epic way, with a range of joint ventures starting with a new hot sauce.
Customers across the US and around the globe can spice up their Popeyes Chicken Sandwich or chicken nuggets with Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottie Sauce — a sweet and bold sauce with a hint of spice, inspired by Megan’s sassy personality, according to a press release.
The sauce will be offered among the chain’s lineup of side dipping sauces or on Popeyes beloved chicken sandwich, marking the first time Popeyes has released a new version of its signature menu item.
The Savage rapper confirm the news on her Instagram account as well, “Yessss hotties it’s true Thee Hot Girl has her very own HOTTIE SAUCE AT POPEYES Not only does ya girl have an official sauce but I’m also now a franchise owner and will be opening up my very own Popeyes locations.”
The now Popeyes owner, Megan, worked closely with the Popeyes’ culinary team to develop the flavour, which is a mix of honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper.
Hottie Sauce will only be available at participating locations worldwide for a limited time, beginning October 19th.
