1220 New Covid cases

Jamaica has recorded 486 COVID-19 hospitalizations, the highest since the start of the fourth wave of the virus.
The Health Ministry reports that of those hospitalized, 102 are moderately ill, 44 are severely ill and 18 are critically ill.
Meantime, 1,220 more persons have tested positive for the virus, pushing the case count to 113, 438.
Of the new cases, 759 are females and 461 are males. They range in age from 73 days to 95 years.
Kingston and St. Andrew recorded the highest number of cases with 252, while St. Catherine followed with 217.
The positivity rate is 61.9 per cent.
