Record holder Usain Bolt and his girlfriend Kasi Bennett have donated medical
equipment and television to the Nuttall Hospital in St Andrew.
Kasi wrote in a tweet yesterday saying “I am forever grateful to the maternity
staff at Nuttall Memorial Hospital for the amazing care we received. To give
birth safely to our beautiful daughter at the same place my mother gave birth to
me was the most ethereal feeling. Your staff was beyond exceptional. Thank
you!”
Their thank-you gift was nothing small, as they donated 12 digital blood
pressure machines and two fetal dopplers.
They even gifted the maternity staff gift voucher to dine at Usain Bolt Tracks
and Record restaurant.
The new parents say the gifts serve as a means of gratitude for the warm
hospitality and great care offered to them at the hospital.
