The Bajan singer graced the cover of the magazine with a controversial photo of her dressed in a distorted nun’s outfit. The caption on Interview Mag’s Instagram reads, “The opps is watching.” @badgalriri keeps it strictly business… for our Spring 2024 cover story…”
The “Work” singer is now facing criticisms about the look, as some people consider it disrespectful to the Christian faith.
The magazine also posted a video from the shoot, which shows the singer wearing dramatic blue eyeshadow and a strong red lip.
Rihanna’s looks usually receive praise from her fans, but it seems this look hit a nerve with some.
“I love you riri but this is not okay,” one fan wrote in the comments on Instagram, while another said, “This ain’t it.”
There were, of course, some Rihanna fans who were supportive of the look, including one person who called her “THE BADDEST!!!!!!” in the Instagram comments.
