Rapper Kanye West is letting his pockets do the talking as he donated 2 million dollars to support George Floyd’s family. The donation includes funding for legal fees for Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor’s families, along with black-owned businesses in crisis in his hometown, Chicago, and other cities.
The rapper also set up an education plan for George’s daughter Gianna Floyd which aims to fully cover her college tuition.
Over the last couple of days, social media has been questioning where is the outspoken Kanye that they know and love.
Well, the highest-paid rapper for 2020 (according to Forbes) also took to the streets of Chicago and joined in on the protest yesterday. West’s support comes following several other notable artists including the weekend, drake, and other
entertainers donating large sums of money towards non-profit organizations and other groups that can help the families of the victims.
