President of the Bog Walk and Linstead Taxi Association, Michelle Taffe is calling for hidden cameras to be installed in public passenger vehicles to boost security.

Her comment follows the murder of a Linstead taxi operator and another operator going missing in recent days.

The vehicle of Rushane Wilkins, the operator who went missing on Friday was found burnt out on Saturday.

Ms Taffe said the hidden cameras would address the attack on the sector.

She is calling on Transport Minister Daryl Vaz, to intervene in addressing the plight of transport operators.
