A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for several Caribbean islands, as Tropical Storm Tammy is approximately 425 miles east-southeast of Guadeloupe.
Barbados, Dominica, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, and St. Kitts and Nevis are the countries with a Tropical Storm Watch in effect as the 19th storm of the season approaches.
While the storm is presently moving westward, meteorologists predict a gradual turn to the west-northwest in the coming day.
Given its proximity to the Caribbean islands, further watches and warnings are expected to be issued.
