Kayodi Satchell, the woman accused of murdering 8 year old student Daniel Rowe, is to return to court on May 16, for a plea and case management hearing.

The date was set for the 30 year old Dental Assistant, when she appeared in the Home Circuit Court before Justice Leighton Pusey today (Thurs), who further remanded her in custody.

When the matter was called up, the prosecutor informed the court that the case file was completed, so a trial date can be set on the next occasion.

Satchell is accused of abducting young Danielle from the Braeton Primary School in Portmore, St. Catherine on June 8 last year.

Later that day, the child was seen wandering along Roosevelt Avenue in East Kingston, with her throat slashed.

Daniel was rushed to hospital, but died two days later.

Investigations led by police, led to Satchell’s arrest on August 11 last year.
