Prime Minister Andrew Holness has expressed hope that the decision of the United States to release oil from its reserves will lead to the reduction of oil prices in the region.
The Prime Minister made the statement at a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, this morning (Fri).
He noted that Jamaica and other developing states are particularly vulnerable to the current instabilities in the world.
The Prime Minister also commented on matters of climate change and mutual security interests.
