Newly elected member of Parliament for South East Clarendon Pearnel Charles Jnr, says he will give his best to the development of the constituency.

Mr. Charles Jnr polled 6,845 votes to the 738 votes received by independent candidate Derrick Lambert.

The Electoral Office of Jamaica EOJ says voter turn out for the by-election, was 18.3 percent, representing 7,583 persons turning out to vote.

The final counting of ballots will begin today (Tues) at the Vere Technical High School.

Mr. Charles Jnr pledged his commitment to supporters.
