Lawyers representing Sean “Diddy” Combs are contesting a woman’s lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, arguing that certain claims made by the woman were not legally recognized when the alleged incident occurred in 1991.
Combs’ legal team is seeking to dismiss specific claims, including those related to revenge porn and human trafficking.
The lawsuit, filed by Joi Dickerson-Deal, alleges that Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her when she was 19, also accusing him of videotaping the assault and sharing it with industry contacts.
Combs has denied the allegations, suggesting they are an attempt to exploit a temporary extension of the statute of limitations in New York law.
