The Jamaica Football Federation and the Reggae Girlz Team have expressed sadness and anger at the shooting death of former national youth player Jerine Carr.
Carr was one of two persons shot while in a taxi in St Thomas yesterday afternoon. It is reported that gunmen posing as passengers opened fire killing Carr and the Taxi Operator.
She was reportedly on her way to training when the incident happened.
19 year old Carr represented Jamaica at the Under 15 and 17 level.
