Jamaica has now been confirmed to compete in the global relay 4×100 and 4×400 metres events which will be one of the main features of the Penn Relays in the United States later this month .
The 4×100 metres event for men and women will be contested approximately two hours before the mile relays, on the final day of the meet, however it is unclear whether Jamaica’s leading sprinters will be available for both events.
Meanwhile, in its move to always expand and remain innovative, the organisers of the Penn Relays Carnival will this year be staging an inaugural Coaches Expo.
Olympian and legendary coach Dr. Jack Daniels will make a guest appearance on the Friday.
The 128th staging of the Penn Relays will be staged at the Franklin Field Stadium in Philadelphia between April 25 to 27.
