World championships gold medallist Shericka Jackson is among the nominees for the Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year honours, in this year’s Laureus World Sports Awards.
Jackson who produced a championship record 21.41 seconds on her way to the gold medal in Budapest last year, is among a number of global track and field stars, making the list of nominees, which includes the world 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson, Mondo Duplantis, Noah Lyles and Faith Kipyegon.
The 25th Laureus Sports Awards, will take place in Madrid on April 22.
