Technology Minister Daryl Vaz has reiterated that the government is working to ensure the protection of citizen’s data.
Speaking during technology company, T-tech Limited’s data privacy conference recently, Mr. Vaz said the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in more persons using the virtual space.
Noting that this means more personal data being shared online, Mr. Vaz emphasized the importance of the data protection act.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to data privacy.
