Reggae Boyz Eliminated from World Cup Campaign


Jamaica has been eliminated from the Qatar 2022 World Cup following their 11-nil loss to Costa Rica last evening in their CONCACAF final round world cup qualifier inside the National Stadium.
The Reggae Boyz who were suffering their third straight defeat since the sacking of coach Theodore Tappa Whitmore, conceded in the 62nd minute, when Joel Campbell converted, after a 61st penalty save by goalkeeper Andre Blake.
Jamaica with 7 points from 11 games are now out of contention for a place in Qatar along with Honduras on three points as Costa Rica moves up to 16 points.
