A 17-year-old female student was fatally stabbed by another at the Kingston Technical High School, this (Thurs) afternoon.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
The other female student involved in the incident is in police custody.
Reports are that the incident took place shortly before 2:30pm when classes were about to end.
An alleged eye witness said she saw the student on the ground, following the incident, adding that its not clear as to the cause of the dispute between the girls.
She said a teacher took the wounded student to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
