The Bridgeport Primary school in Portmore, St. Catherine has been mourning today as students and teachers grieve the death of a student who was killed in a hit & run accident on Friday.
Her has been identified as 8 year old Dilshan McLean of Caymanas Estate in Spanish Town. Its reported that Dilshan and a Grade 1 female student had just left the school when they were mowed down by a motorcar.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop.
The children were rushed to hospital where Dilshan died and the girl admitted in serious but stable condition.
