R&B singer Brian McKnight has once again come under fire for changing his name to keep his “legacy” going after the birth of his new son.
The “Back at One” singer posted on his Instagram that he legally changed his name to Brian Kainoa Makoa McKnight Sr. to ensure he’s a senior to his newborn baby.
If you can remember, Brian McKnight already has a son named Brian McKnight Jr. However, the crooner has been at odds with his four children.
Social media found the move “disgusting” and “petty” and they made sure to drag him in the comment section.
One fan wrote, “You’re making it so hard for your day one fans. those of us who remember the first lullaby”.
