Wax Museums Trending

Wax museums have been trending for the past couple days, and while some have been for favourable reasons, others… not so much.

Wax figures of musicians Travis Barker, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Lil Wayne surfaced on social media, and the only person pleased with their wax likeness was Barker.

The Blink 182 member was all smiles as he posed with his replica, “twinning”.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson believed that his wax figure in the Paris Museum was “whitewashed”. The actor and former wrestler made a post requesting an updated skin tone for his figure.

Yesterday (October 23), the museum announced that changes were already underway. Today, a museum spokesperson told Forbes that the wax figure was fixed during the night and was ready for selfies with visitors.

Let’s hope we can get the same justice for Lil Wayne!

The “A Milli” rapper responded to seeing viral videos of his wax figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum.

In a recent post on X, formerly Twiitter, the 41-year-old rapper posted, “Sorry wax museum but dat ain’t me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort.”
