Some 19 firearms, including six high powered rifles were found in a barrel at the Wharf in St. James yesterday (Mon).
Just over 470 assorted rounds of ammunition were also discovered.
The police say a major multi agency investigation is underway, to identify the persons responsible.
Up to Sunday, 20 illegal firearms and over 190 rounds of ammunition had been seized since the start of the year.
