Three people died in two separate motor vehicle accidents between last night (August 31) and this morning.

They are 38-year-old Taj Lee of Lilliput, St. James and two unidentified men.

In the first incident, at about 8:10 PM, Lee was driving a Toyota Corolla motor car towards Falmouth. Upon reaching a section of the roadway, the driver of a Honda Fit motor car drove out into his path, causing a collision.

Lee lost control of his vehicle and collided with a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver of the Honda Fit was warned for prosecution.

Meantime, two unidentified males died, and a woman was injured after the vehicle in which they were travelling plunged into a river at the Wag Water Bridge in Agualta Vale, St. Mary, early this morning (September 1).

The men – both of dark complexion and medium build, appear to be in their late-twenties to early- thirties.

Reports from the Annotto Bay police are that one of the men was driving a Toyota Mark X motor car with the other male and the woman aboard.

The vehicle was heading towards Port Maria when the driver allegedly lost control and plunged into the river.

The police were summoned, and the injured occupants taken to hospital where both men were pronounced dead.

The woman was treated and released.
