Rapper YFN Lucci wants early release from jail.
According to legal documents, obtained by TMZ, the rapper claims a fellow inmate at the Fulton County Jail stabbed him while he was taking a video call.
Lucci alleges in the legal documents that he was stabbed by the inmate with a homemade shank at the facility on Feb. 9.
The rapper also says that an alleged bounty is on his head in the jail and he fears for his life.
The 31-year-old artiste is asking the judge to grant him a bond so he can be released from jail and wait for his trial while on house arrest. Lucci’s legal docs reportedly state that he’s willing to be on 24-hour home confinement and wear an ankle monitor if the judge grants him his release.
Lucci has been in Fulton County Jail since January 2021 when he turned himself in for the 2020 shooting that took the life of 28-year-old James Adams and wounded another. His trial date is set for May 12.
