WOMEN CHARGED WITH ATTACKING TEENAGER IN 2020, RETURN TO COURT FEBRUARY 20 NEXT YEAR

The five women charged with attacking a teenager at a party in St. Andrew in 2020, are to return to the Home Circuit Court, on February 20 next year.

The accused, Nadine Aldridge, Shackeena McLeod, Yoland Vassell, Timone Williams and Crysian Lewis, are facing charges of wounding with intent and unlawful wounding.

They appeared in the Home Circuit Court yesterday (Mon), after their case was transferred from the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court.

Justice Vaughn Smith, extended the women’s bail and instructed two of them, to get legal representation.

The women were arrested and charged, after they allegedly attacked the then 17 year old Kaylan Dowdie, at an illegal party during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was reported, that Dowdie was attacked and beaten unconscious, for starring at one of the women.
