A Broad Area of Low Pressure, with a low chance of Tropical Cyclone development over the next 2 days, is currently located across the southwestern Caribbean.
The Met Service says this area of Low Pressure is expected to gradually move northwards and into the vicinity of Jamaica on Sunday through to Tuesday. This area of Low Pressure is expected to generate unstable weather conditions throughout this period.
The forecast is for mostly cloudy conditions to continue through the weekend, with periods of showers and thunderstorms, which could be heavy at times with occasional gusty winds, to affect mainly eastern and central parishes starting late Sunday and continuing through to Tuesday.
