Some thirty thousand public sector workers are threatening to take industrial action next week if concerns over their wages are not addressed by Government.

The workers are members of the Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA).

President of the Association Oniel Grant says the Association has been trying to settle the workers’ concerns since last year, but it has not received favourable responses from the Government.

He said the frustrated workers have agreed to put the Government on notice of imminent industrial action.
