The Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority JCAA says it is working assiduously to ensure the resumption of services to Jamaica’s airspace.

The JCAA in a statement, says it is in contact with all concerned parties.

Air Traffic Controllers took industrial action this morning (Thurs) to register their frustration with the government over protracted salary issues and as a result the island’s air traffic services have been disrupted.

The JCAA says the public will be updated at the earliest opportunity.
