It will be a battle of past winners, multiple nominated artistes and a newbie for Reggae’s ultimate prize.

Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Collie Buddz, Burning Spear, and Julian Marley are the chosen five vying for the coveted Best Reggae Album title at the 66th annual Grammy Awards next year.

Two-time Grammy winner Burning Spear scored his 13th nomination for his album ‘No Destroyer’, Buju Banton with 8 Grammy nominations and 2 wins, is nominated for his album ‘Born For Greatness’,

Beenie Man has 4 nominations and is in with his album SIMMA’, while Julian Marley, who has never won a Grammy, has scored his third nomination with ‘Colours of Royal’.

This marks the first nomination for Bermuda native Collie Buddz with his ‘Cali Roots Riddim 2023’ album.
