Celebrities descended on New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night for the annual Met Gala.
The extravagant event raises money for the museum’s Costume Institute.
Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth were co-chairs alongside Anna Wintour.
This year’s dress code was “The Garden of Time,” inspired by J.G. Ballard’s 1962 dystopian short story of the same name.
A-listers including Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Keke Palmer, Demi Moore, Lana De Ray and many more, came dressed in plenty of floral and botanical motifs, as well as creative takes on decay and ruin.
This year’s Met Gala exhibit theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” is set to feature 250 items from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection.
The works will be displayed at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in new ways, including elements such as video animation, CGI, AI and more.
