Dancehall artiste Teejay has donated half a million dollars to Sunshine Girls team ahead of their The GOAL IS GOLD” trip to South Africa to participate in the Netball World Cup.
The entertainer performed his highly successful track Drift, during the Sunshine Girls send-off party at the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston earlier this week, which was hosted by Sports Minister Olivia Babsy Grange.
The 12-member SUNSHINE GIRLS squad to South Africa is Captained by Jhaniele Fowler.
The squad will travel to the 16th staging of the Vitality Netball World Cup set for July 28 to August 6 in Cape Town, South Africa. Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls will be among 16 teams vying for the World Cup trophy.
