Singer and former talk show host Tamar Braxton allegedly attempted suicide.
Reports are that EMTs arrived at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Down Town LA – in response to a 911 call – they found Tamar unconscious inside her room.
Her boyfriend, David Adefeso, told cops she may have overdosed on pills and alcohol. He also told police she had been upset earlier in the day and had threatened suicide.
Tamar and David have a YouTube show together called, “Coupled & Quarantined,” and the latest episode should have been on Thursday night, but earlier in the day they said it was being postponed.
Ironically, The singer has an upcoming show on WE TV called, “Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life.” The first trailer for the show was released Thursday, and in it, Tamar is seen arguing with producers about being portrayed as the “angry black woman.”
It is said that she has been extremely emotional because of an ongoing contract dispute with We TV.
The singer has been attempting to get out of her contract believing she has been screwed over for years. Things got worse this week when the trailer for the reality show was released. Tamar felt blindsided by it and hated the way it portrayed her.
