Days of Our Lives and General Hospital star, Tyler Christopher, died on Tuesday of a suspected “cardiac event”. He was 50 years old.
Christopher’s former General Hospital co-star, Maurice Benard, confirmed the actor’s death on Instagram.
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tyler Christopher,” he wrote.
Christopher was best known for his role as Nikolas Cassadine on the long-running daytime soap opera “General Hospital.”
The General Hospital actor is also the ex-husband of fellow actress Eva Longoria. Earlier this year, Longoria shared her concern for her ex, stating that he was unrecognisable.
