The search for a British man who went missing after going on a nature walk in Ballard’s Valley near Junction in St Elizabeth on Sunday, has ended in tragedy.

The body of 60 year old Robert Dyer was found just after 9 o’clock on Thursday morning during a search and rescue operation, which involved the police, soldiers, fire fighters and residents.

Head of the St Elizabeth police superintendent Coleridge Minto, noted that Dyer was reportedly diabetic and had been missing for 4 days.

He said no foul play is suspected in Dyer’s death.
