A policeman has been hospitalized in serious condition, after he was robbed and shot on Municipal Boulevard, in Portmore, St. Catherine last evening (Mon).
Head of the St. Catherine South police, Senior Superintendent, Christopher Phillips says the policeman was on his way home when he was attacked by men on a motorcycle.
SSP Phillips says the policeman was shot twice and his cell phone, personal firearm, and motorcycle were stolen.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
