POLICE SAY COURT TO DECIDE WHAT WILL BE DONE WITH CASH SEIZED IN ST. JAMES, LAST MONTH

Head of the Crime and Security Portfolio, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey has indicated that the court will make a decision as to what will be done with a large sum of cash, which was seized in St. James, last month.

On Tuesday, April 26, an operation was carried out in the Coral Gardens community, and a premises was searched.

Cash in excess of 3.8-million US dollars and 30,000 Canadian dollars was found.

Two persons were taken into custody.

Speaking during a press conference yesterday (Tues), DCP Bailey said the investigation continues.

He outlined the process to be followed.
