Chairman of the Police Federation, Corporal Rohan James says he has acknowledged the concerns of the public, over the manner in which he voiced his discontent about wages for his members, at a memorial service in Kingston on Friday.

A video of the Chairman, saying that the Government will have to meet the police officers’ wage demands had been circulating.

The video has raised fresh concerns about negative leadership being portrayed by police officers.

Corporal James said he is not above reproach, adding that moving forward, his actions will be representative of someone who leads by positive example.
