The Jamaica Constabulary Force is advising all operators of motor vehicles to ensure their vehicles are registered, updated and operating within the parameters of their prescribed licenses.

Drivers are reminded that if the various operating criteria are not met, it will result in the seizure of the vehicle and the prosecution of the offender.

The warning comes after officers assigned to the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch and the St. Andrew North police Division seized 16 motorcycles, during operations conducted between April 24 and last Wednesday.

The vehicles were seized for various offences, including not being licensed and having no registration plates affixed.
