Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the government will have to adjust its crime fighting policies to address the wave of murders stemming from domestic disputes.

This, as he noted that murders linked to gang warfare have been decreasing, but murders linked to domestic situations are up.

Mr. Holness also expressed concerns about the growing number of mass murder incidents taking place across the island.

The Prime Minister said given this reality, the government will have to adjust its strategies for tackling murders.

This includes changing the way how threats of violence are handled.
