More hot water is being poured on Travis Scott.

Nike is postponing the release of its Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack shoe collaboration with Travis Scott after dozens of people were killed or injured during his Astroworld concert.

The shoe company announced on Monday in a statement, “Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack.”

The delay comes days after a crowd rush during the concert in Houston sent dozens of young people to the hospital, including a number of children who were in attendance. However, this decision comes after a 9-year-old Ezra Blount, who was also at the concert, died.

Travis’ relationship with Nike started in 2017 with the release of his first Air Force 1 design. Throughout the years, they have collaborated on popular releases including the Air Jordan 33, Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 6, and the SB Dunk.

The kicks were slated to go live on December 16 at 7 AM.
