Young reached out to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department for help to recover more than $1 million from the producer.
According to reports, Young’s legal team has documented a writ of commission against the rapper. She accused Dr. Dre of disobeying a court order to pay $1,224,607 in past legal fees, to which he agreed to only pay $300,000, despite the court order.
With this order, Young could pay the full amount, which grows with interest worth $335 daily, from his bank accounts.
The documents asked the Sheriff’s Department to “enforce the judgment.
Dre will have to continue paying monthly “until she remarries or enters into a domestic partnership — or unless the court orders otherwise at a later date.”
He also has to continue paying for her health insurance and the California homes that they once shared, including one in Malibu and another in Pacific Palisades.
The agreement will also end if either one of them dies, court documents say.
The two have been involved in a tense separation for quite some time now. Young filed for divorce from the rapper in June 2020. Over a year later, the proceedings continue.
