MUNI LONG SIGNS WITH DEF JAM

The ‘Hrs and Hrs’ singer and songwriter has secured a deal with Def Jam Records.
Def Jam CEO and Chairman Tunji Balogun announced on Monday that Muni secured the deal through her SuperGiant Records label.
Muni has spent close to ten years as an independent artiste and recently went viral with her platinum-certified song ‘Hrs and Hrs’.
Muni told variety magazine that she was once signed by Capitol Records in 2009 but opted to focus on writing songs for artistes such as Ariana Grande and Rihanna before deciding to release her 2021 album ‘Public Display of Affection’.
While speaking about signing to the label, Muni says that it has been a lifelong goal of her to bring her gifts to the world.
