While Vybz Kartel and his team have been celebrating the UK-based Privy Council’s judgement on his murder conviction, Mr. Vegas is not.

The “Bruk it Down” artiste took to his Instagram Live to air his opinion.

Mr. Vegas does not consider the verdict a victory, as he believes that there is nothing to celebrate as he believes that Kartel has already served his time in prison.

“Him cya override time. Shawn Storm dem and the other co-accused dem cannot erase the time weh dem serve already. Thirteen years a 13 years – dat done, serve already… Dah 13 years deh, yuh missing from yuh family already. Dah 13 years deh, yuh off the street. Dah 13 years deh, yuh inna lock up. Dah 13 years deh, yuh have people a watch over you, a guard yuh, a tell you when fi eat, sleep, drink, bathe, everything”, he stated.

The self-styled “World Boss” has been incarcerated since 2011 and convicted in 2014 for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

Last week, the Privy Council unanimously determined that the convictions of Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, fellow entertainer Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Kahira Jones, and Andre St John be quashed.
