City Girls are you ready?

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion is going on tour this summer.

The “Hiss” singer made the announcement this morning (January 30) on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer since, like, 2019,” the rapper said during her sit-down chat.

She also mentioned that she was excited to release a summer album.

The year has already been off to an exciting start for the rapper, as she released her diss song “Hiss” last Friday (January 26). The song is currently number one on the U.S. Apple Music Chart, with her target Nicki Minaj following close by at the number 2 spot.

Megan could be facing a summer lawsuit as well, after being called out by the family of Megan Kanka over a lyric she used on “Hiss.”

In her lyrics, she raps, “These [girls] be mad at Megan, these [girls] mad at Megan’s Law. I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”

This seemed like an indirect hit at Nicki Minaj’s husband, who is a convicted sex offender.

The law is named after Megan Kanka, a seven-year-old who was sexually assaulted and murdered by her neighbour, Jesse Timmendequas, after he lured her into his home. He was previously convicted of child molestation but failed to inform his neighbours of his convictions, as it wasn’t legally required at that time. Megan’s Law is a federal law that requires the release of relevant information to protect the public from sexually violent offenders.

Now, according to TMZ, her father, Richard Kanka, is angry over the line in the diss-track. He described the line as highly offensive to his daughter’s memory and her family’s pain.
