Mariah Carey had an extra special gift in her stocking this year!
The 54-year-old singer has broken yet another record this year.
Almost 30 years after its release, her single “All I Want for Christmas Is You” now has the most Spotify streams in a single day.
On Christmas Eve (Dec 24), the song garnered 23,701,697 streams, breaking her previous record of 21,273,357 streams, according to TMZ.
This comes just weeks after the track fell to number 2 on the Billboard 100, a spot usually dominates during this time of year.
All I Want for Christmas Is You” was temporarily pushed to number 2 by Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”.
This was Lee’s first time since 1960 at the top of the charts, and only the third holiday song in the charts history to be number one.
