It has been nearly three years since her last album and well, it is about that time!
The project titled ‘Special’ is slated to be released on July 15th and will be her fourth studio album.
The album will feature 12 tracks including her very popular hit song ‘About Damn Time’. She also samples Lauryn Hill on the Mark Ronson-produced ‘Break Up Twice’ and pays homage to one of her favourite bands on the closer, Coldplay. her collab with Cardi B ‘Rumors’ is missing from the list.
During a recent interview with Apple Music, Lizzo said this about her new album. “I think that the music really is going to speak for itself. I’m writing songs about love from every direction, and I hope that I can turn a little bit of the fear that’s been running rampant in this world, energetically into love”.
