Former Parliamentarian Jolyan Silvera who has been charged with murder in relation to the death of his wife, Melissa is to appear in court on Thursday.
Mr. Silvera was charged last Friday, following his arrest, on Thursday January 18.
It was initially reported that Mrs. Silvera died in her sleep of natural causes last November.
However, during a postmortem examination, bullet fragments were found in her body.
The police then upgraded the case to a murder investigation, and questioned Mr. Silvera who was later charged with murder.
Police say further charges could be laid against him in relation to the incident.
