Lobby Group Jamaicans for Justice JFJ is cautioning against speculation, on how the Caribbean Court of Justice CCJ, would have treated the Vybz Kartel case.

This after some members of the public raised questions, about the ruling handed down by the UK Privy Council.

The Council quashed the convictions of Kartel and his co-appelants and also returned the matter to the local court, for a determination on re-trial.

Executive Director of the JFJ Mickel Jackson, said there is nothing to suggest, that the CCJ would have ruled differently.

She noted that the Privy Council ruled only on the grounds of jury misconduct.

She said the other points relating to the handling of evidence and the right to privacy, were not decided on, so these are gaps that the CCJ could fill.
