Tourism Minister, Ed Bartlett has revealed that in a bid to boost the tourism sector, Jamaica will be targetting three million cruise ship visitors by 2025.

He made this declaration recently during the Jamaica Vacations Limited JAMVAC Executive Management and Board Retreat, in Trelawny.

Mr. Bartlett noted that JAMVAC would continue working closely with the Port Authority of Jamaica, the Jamaica Tourist Board JTB and the Tourism Product Development Company TPDCo to achieve this goal.

The news comes amid reports that the cruise sub-sector, which re-opened in August, has been steadily growing.
