The Elletson Road Police seized a high-powered rifle and a magazine during an operation on Burgher Lane in Rollington Town, Kingston 2 on Saturday, March 2.
Reports from the Elletson Road Police are that about 11:20 a.m., lawmen searched a section of the community and one AK47 rifle with an empty magazine was found on an abandoned premises.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
Investigations continue.
