Heart NSTA Trust has indicated that its food operations training programme, for the crab vendors in Kingston, will be an ongoing development offering, with another phase to be undertaken in the next 6 months.
The vendors started their one week programme on Tuesday and this phase will culminate on Saturday, with a cook-off showcase.
Training is part of remedial measures being undertaken by the vendors, and the Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation, in the wake of a public health scare, due to recent unsanitary behaviour, by a vendor.
